October and November

Well it is probably time to get caught up again so I don't get so far behind.  Halloween was so much fun, I feel like we really do have this 3 kid thing down (knock on serious wood!!) for the most part.  I think actually it is just that my expectations have lowered :).  Once again the pictures came from Ryan's phone, my phone and a few from the camera so it loads them in the computer in sets.

Back to the festivities- we split it all up and did a little bit all through the month.  We went up to Gardner Village the day before Cam's baby blessing and my phone died so I have only a few pictures, but the girls had a lot of fun dancing on the witch stage with Bailey and Stirling and Grandma Bowler.  We went through the petting zoo-so cool petting a baby alpaca, but the girls loved the bunnies the most.
Feeding the horse and the Jersey calves.
And their favorite part of all-the pony ride!
We carved pumpkins and they lasted only a week and a half because they got snowed on and then it was warm so they looked great when we first carved them but quickly started looking shriveled.  We painted a few pumpkins as well and those held up a little better.

We went to a BYU basketball game a week or so before Halloween.  It was a lot of fun painting the kids' faces (we took Josh with us).  Alli was excited to see Cosmo and Ilene was too-until we got close to him to meet him and then she was not too thrilled until he was farther away and then she was all excited to find him again.

We have played upstairs a lot-dressing up, hiding by the giant bear,

and painting our nails to look like jack-o-lanterns.
The week after Cam's blessing we went to a "super cool" Farm Festival we had seen advertised.  Let's just say they had a pretty generous marketing team when describing the events that would be there :).  But the girls still had fun obviously-going through the straw maze, tractor ride, small petting zoo, pony ride, a giant pumpkin contest, and a few other things.

Ilene loves this Minnie Mouse puzzle and does it pretty well every day.

Alli had a field trip to the Museum of Modern Art at BYU.  It was fun, they showed the kids a few art pieces and had things to try on and then did some art projects with the body parts they had found in the paintings.  So they made a hat, finger painted, and made a foot mold with play-do.

I LOVE these cute kids, seriously some days are crazy, but I would not want to be anywhere else.  And I never get sick of this cute smile and these sweet girls.

More playing around the house.  Alli hides in the dress up chest upstairs.

Just more pics of my smiley guy.  He is about 3 1/2 months here.
Ilene loves her "Baby" and I have found her multiple times in his crib or bassinet (when he would sleep in that-he has now decided he likes only the crib).  She just loves to be by him.

Blurry pic, but man I love the little guy!
Ilene and Alli got new church dresses and they love to put them on and spin around.  Alli actually wore hers for a good chunk of today! Ilene calls hers her "Rella" dress and dances around like a princess.  :)  Alli also is a princess whenever she wears hers.

They play so well together a lot of the time now, and nothing melts my heart more than hearing how sweetly they talk to each other.  Alli is so good to help Ilene and Ilene is so cute calling for "Awi" and now she says "Tank Awwi" or "Tank Mama" whenever I do even the smallest thing.
Alli hanging out at our awesome neighbors the Bennetts two weekends ago playing with Leo who hopped up on her lap.  Notice she is wearing a dress? It also twirls out so it is a princess dress.
Alli getting ready for her pre-school Halloween party.

Alli in yet another princess church dress and everyone else in pajamas! I love that most days we can hang out in pajamas most of the day.
We had one of our friends over and decorated sugar cookies.  They were super yummy!

 Halloween morning hanging out.

 Pumpkin/Jack-o-lantern pancakes for breakfast.
 Visiting Rosilene

 City Trunk or Treat
Alli thought it was so cool to get to trunk or treat at the firetruck.

My thoughtful hubby brought these lovely flowers and  awesome mini-purse/wallet home on Halloween.  My wallet was tearing even though I haven't had it more than a few months :( This was such a wonderful surprise!!
Alli and Ilene getting their trick or treat action going on with one of our favorite neighbors Julie.

The only whole fan picture we took-at one of our other neighbors' houses while we visited.

Ilene loving to put stamps on her face and Alli wearing her costume the day after Halloween.  Alli wore this as much as possible basically the whole month of October.
Ryan had a work trip right after Halloween and we went and rode the carousel at the mall and did a little shopping.
The weekend after Halloween we went to Thanksgiving Point to Cornbelly's.  It was so much fun! The girls were having a great time here playing on some wooden structures they had-trains, boats etc.
Alli got on and said "All Aboard" so then Ilene immediately repeated it "Ah Abode"
I love when I can catch Alli smiling her regular smile instead of her "cheeser" smile, I love these girls!
 In a little hay "maze"
More from Cornbelly's.
They had a whole "Pumpkin Princess Playland" with princess dress ups, the princess jump house, this carriage, a pretend farmer's market, a stage, more wood play things, and a cool jump pillow.

Since it was after Halloween this Saturday was the pumpkin smash day so they let everyone put all of the pumpkins from around the area in this road area and the tractor drove over all of them.  Kind of random, but kind of fun to see.
The giant rocking chair.
A cool room filled with corn kernels.
The corn kernel queen :).

Messing around with a clown wig.  It was so funny to see it on Cameron and Alli and Ilene, but I don't know where the pictures are from those :(.
We had some awesome warm weather at the beginning of the month and we hung out at the park a few times.

And then a week later we had snow.

Ilene doing her "tabletop" and showing her awesomeness at the balance beam.
This pic is funny because she looks like she is half asleep! She totally rocks these beams, she can do the high beam all by herself.
Happy little dude chilling during Alli's and Ilene's class.

These girls love watching shows on the Ipad.  I am loving Ilene's makeup and Alli's thoughtful pose.

Happy in Nursery and playing with the cute cat at Grandma's.

Silly girls sucking up their orange juice.  Don't worry we snapped the pic then cleaned it up.  And this is why I keep the counters clean :).
We had a birthday party for our neighbor Doug (below)-he turned 83! We just love him.  Doran (above) made ribs and the girls quickly realized they were delicious!

I had to put the full sequence of these because you can see how he goes from happy to excited to I can't  control the happiness :).

Man I love that little guy and his big smiles.  I can never get enough of them and luckily he gives them out freely! I love how he just gets soo excited and his whole body just tenses up.  It is like he has too much happiness to fit in his little body!

Bet you are jealous of this awesome slumber party :).  I am not sure when exactly this was, apparently this is what Ryan found when he went to come to bed.

A few nights ago we were headed out to a wedding reception and had Alli and Cam in the car.  Ilene had "disappeared" and not come out to the car.  Ryan looked while I was getting the kids in the car and then I came in to help.  He had checked upstairs, downstairs etc and she wasn't responding.  We checked in the pantry and there she was just sitting calmly with a little bag of candy corns. haha little stinker.
