Cleveland and Columbus

These kids had so much fun playing on their stairs!! I wish I could have gotten one with Sara!
 The friendly chipmunk!

 The awesome staircase!

Oh man Alli had fun having Julia read to her and she and Audrey would "read" to each other, we have some cute videos I will have to find...

The adorable bunny Julia and Audrey gave Alli.

I totally just realized I never posted this, I wrote it over a month ago and it is one of our favorite things we have had all year long!
At the beginning of March we had the chance to go to Ohio.  Ryan needed to go for work and I convinced him that the rest of the crew should go along so we could see the half of my family who lives there! Alli had been so excited for the few weeks after we got it all arranged and pretty much every day included some sort of flying to Ohio play whether we were "Wonder Pets" on a fly boat or something else.  She thought the plane was really cool for the first flight, and she was fantastic-even though she had been awake since halfway through the night.  The second flight we were split up-Alli was across the aisle from me and Ryan was on the row right in front of me.  Sweet configuration with kids! We flew out a few days early so we could drive up to Cleveland and see James & Natalie and their cute kiddos.  It was so great hanging out with them and trying yummy foods! We went to the zoo and it ended up being warm enough we did some of the outside parts as well as the cool rainforest indoor section.  Walking in there was a really friendly squirrel that ate a few goldfish out of Ryan's hand-he was kind of worried about being bitten and getting rabies :).  Alli still mentions the cool secret spiral staircase they have and going to the "rainforest"-I don't think she realized it wasn't for real.  Then we made a stop at the Westside Market where we barely missed the gyros place, but we had some delicious crepes instead so it was still a win-win.  We attempted a stop at The Melt but after finding it had a 2 hour wait (at like 6 o clock on a Wednesday night) we changed plans :).  Alli is pretty easy to please and she was super thrilled with the mall play place and coin operated toys-minus the coins.  She was thrilled to get to spend so much time with her bestest buddy Scott-seriously they are so funny together, I love watching them play!  Ilene was happy to follow them around and play with adorable Sara!  Alli got totally spoiled, Natalie found the cutest little jewelry box for Alli's birthday! She is such a lucky girl, she was THRILLED with a special place to keep her treasures!
Ryan had to pick up some shirts that night to deliver to some customers before the show Friday morning so we headed out Thursday in the early evening and drove down to Columbus.  Alli did great on the flights and the drives-Ilene is not a big fan of driving... makes it a little on the interesting side.
But the drives weren't too long and they were definitely worth it.  Friday we were able to hang out with Annie and Julia, Audrey, and little Lily while Ryan was at the Arnold.  It was a great day for hanging out and the girls had a great time playing together!  Alli was loving playing in their play room with friends to play girl stuff with.  They would "read" books to each other-so cute to hear Audrey and Alli's versions of the stories they were reading.  And Julia read them stories she has written, Alli was loving it! We went for yummy ice cream at a place that has a super fun play place.  Ilene is a little daredevil and would follow Alli and Audrey on any slide they were going on and was only slightly daunted by a little bully boy who would push her down these (padded) stairs-until he got in trouble not by his parents (who were no where to be found) but by us obviously and Alli, Audrey, and this random cute girl who told him you don't push babies.  Anyway, but she was still so happy climbing around these play areas.  Saturday we went to Galaxy Game and Golf and had some delicious City BBQ.  Sunday was church and some relaxing time getting ready to head home Monday, but the highlight of Sunday for Alli was definitely the birthday party they had for her! She is one lucky girl, they gave her this adorable pink bunny and seeing as stuffed animals are her "thing" she was one excited girl! Monday we finished up our fun trip by going to Firehouse Subs before we headed to the airport.  Thank you so much to James and Natalie and Bryan and Annie!! It was so fun to see you guys and thanks for being such great hosts!!! I love being able to spend time with my brothers and the wonderful ladies they married and their darling kids so it made me SOO happy to be able to go, and Alli has been wishing she could go back so she could see her friends! We miss you all so much :(.
